  • Eat plenty of raw vegetables. green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale and sweet potato leaves and yellow and orange fruits such as papayas, mangoes and yams are high in beta carotene and anti oxidants.

  • Apricots, carrots and cantaloupes are rich in Vitamins A and C which are important for a healthy, young looking skin.

  • Avoid animal fats, fried food and cooked vegetable oils.

  • Avoid caffeine containing drinks and alcohol in excess.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream has been clinically shown to reduce wrinkles and fine lines on the face and to restore the youthful look of skin. The active ingredient is retinol, the purest from of vitamin A. retinol is a very small molecule that penetrates the epidermis (the top layer of the skin) and penetrates to the lower levels. Collagen and elastin are important to the firmness and elasticity of the skin and are damaged by the sun and other environmental stresses.

As the skin ages it produces less collagen and elastin and becomes less able to repair these molecules when they are damaged. Collagen acts as the foundation of the skin and when it is damaged the skin begins to sag and lines and wrinkles develop. When elastin is damaged the skin loses its elasticity which also contributes to lines and makes the skin look older. Retinol penetrates to the collagen and elastin layer and repairs these molecules. The result is firmer, more elastic skin with fewer lines and wrinkles and a better colour and tone.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream is a skin remedy recommended by dermatologists world wide as an effective treatment for wrinkles and lines and other signs of aging of the skin.Other ingredients in the cream are Vitamin E, a powerful anti oxidant, Pro-Vitamin B5 and moisturisers to restore the natural oils in the skin that decrease as we age. It is light and non greasy and easily absorbed by the skin. This It is also fragrance free to prevent any adverse reactions of the skin, oil free and non-comedogenic (it won't clog up the pores). This skin care treatment is specially formulated to be hypo-allergenic.

Use daily after cleansing. Only a small amount is needed. If you are using a retinol containing skin remedy for the first time you may have some redness of the skin but this should be temporary and disappear in a day or two. Retinol can make the skin more sensitive to the sun so be sure to use a high factor sun screen if you use this product in the day.
